We all love reading stories, especially those our friends have written! Please send in your stories. We'll do our best to publish everything we receive, although very long stories may be divided into two or more pages. At Night
Brittany, age 9

Goodnight, sweetie.  Mum turns out the light.  It is dark.  A shadow falls across the doorway.  I tremble, and hide deeper under my covers.

Outside, leaves rustle and the wind sighs of summers lost.  Raindrops start pattering. 

Two evil green eyes loom out of the darkness.  I quickly pop my head under the covers too.

Creak, squeak.  Mum is walking downstairs.  Don't leave Mum!  Save me!

Suddenly, there's a soft "thwump!" on my bed.  I peek out from under the covers.

Madonna!  Bad pussycat!  Don't you ever frighten me like that again!
